About NAUFOR

The National association of securities market participants (NAUFOR) is a Russian financial market self-regulating nonprofit organization (SRO).

Membership in self-regulating organizations is mandatory for Russian financial institutions.

The Bank of Russia's SRO roster includes NAUFOR as a self-regulating organization for the following financial activity types:

  • brokers,
  • dealers,
  • asset managers,
  • investment advisors,
  • custodians,
  • registrars,
  • investment fund management companies,
  • specialized depositories.
  • NAUFOR conducts control over compliance with the 11 basic and 17 internal standards regulating financial market activities. Constant approach to evolve and improve the tools used to control its members activities is one of the top NAUFOR priorities.

    By the end of 2023 648 companies and individual entrepreneurs were NAUFOR members.

    The Stock Market Elite contest is the oldest and most prestigious contest on the Russian securities market. It has been held since 2000. The nominees are nominated by the market participants themselves, and the winners are determined by the National Jury consisting of reputable market participants.
